WoW it's warm

A quick update for those of you who are following the blog and it appears that many are...

Again it's glourios sunshine here after a cold start this morning. Troops and Units are out experiencing Switzerland, we are currently waiting for our Units who have been out over night to return. We have been in contact with them and they have said what a wonderful, although challenging experience they have had... Sleeping way up high in the mountains, in a mountain hut, is a wonderful experience.

We have our young people, again on low & high ropes, visiting further afield like Interlaken. Doning life vests and going rafting... now that's an experience that no one should ever miss!

Many of the young people have come back to camp after swimming in the warm natural spas around the area and expressing their 'Thanks' for this... 'The water is so clear and fresh' said one Scout that they wanted to do it again...

Our catering team are working hard as are other members of the Core Team and if any staff from our coach company, BakersDolphin are reading this, your Drivers are brilliant and thank you very much...

Last night there was an International BBQ at the Chalet that some young people and Leaders attended. It was an opportunity for them all to meet other Scouts from other countries... They all came back glowing with excitment.

We are looking forward to the International camp fire on Friday evening.

That's all for now...

Mike (Media & PR Team)

Ps Am looking forward to my visit to the Chocolate factory tomorrow...!
