The weather continues to treat us well here as it is at home we understand - 30c??
All the Troop and units are out on their respective visits whether it is rafting, being local, or on a hilltop or mountain!
The visit to the chocolate shop didn't disappoint those that went (I didn't, too much to do... maybe next week!) but I was fortunate to get some free samples...Yum!
Some of the young people who visited the chocolate factory have made the following quotes... 'I ate like millions of pieces of chocolate and now I feel bad', I like eating all the cheese and chocolate'. 'It was very tasty, yummy!'
We had a visit from some German Scouts who are here on site and helped a couple of Groups with their K9opoly challenge. Also we found some groups seeing how many people that they can get into a Swisscom telephone box... quite amusing!
50 of our Explorer Scouts are rafting on the Simme river today and by all accounts they will be having a great time getting wet and just enjoying the weather...
We look forward to the International Camp Fire on Friday when all the groups on site gather at the camp fire circle...
Check out our newsletters on the main Surrey Scout pages and see some interesting photographs.
So, here we are gazing out of the chalet window on the main KISC site, listening to a flowing river and the sound of Scouts from all countries enjoying themselves...bliss. Until next time...
