Some of the Core Team leave for Kandersteg at 3am tomorrow morning, driving all the way, except for crossing the channel of course, arriving late afternoon on Thursday.
We will be getting the site ready, doing some necessary shopping, visiting the bank and sorting out the activities...
We will give you an update on the condition of the site tomorrow.

Information and updates from K9 the Surrey Scout's International Expendition to Kandersteg during August 2009.
About K9
K9 is an International Camp for Scouts and Explorer Scouts from the Scout County of Surrey in the United Kingdom.
Scouts Troops and Explorer Scout Units will join together other the Weeks of 14th and 21st August and travel to Kandersteg International Scout Centre.
Kandersteg is situated at 1200 metres above sea level, some 65 kilometres south of Bern, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. The Centre occupies 17 hectares of wooded ground at the southern end of the village and provides an excellent base for excursions and adventurous activities.
Kandersteg offers a unique environment in which people of all nations can join together in new challenges, scale new heights and collect memories that will be remembered for the rest of their lives.
The event is organised by a Core Team of County Leaders from Surrey. Details about Scouting in Surrey can be found at their County Website at http://www.surrey-scouts.org.uk/
